Mike,
a young citizen of New York City 2080, wishes
to escape the rat race that is city life.
His adventure begins when he leaves the
crowded highways and plunges his aircraft
into the ocean. After a magical transformation,
the audiences' view is no longer from inside
the vehicle, but from the eyes of a fish!
"Face to face" encounters ensue
with friendly sea life and not-so-friendly
sea life.
Once
submerged, sea turtles circle our hero and
a playful dolphins stop to say, "Hello!"
Mike tracks his voyage beneath the sea by
reporting to his electronic secretary named
Demi.
Out of
harms way, Mike and his new friend find
more thrills as they fall into a jagged
underwater canyon. It is at the canyon's
bottom that they discover an Atlantis-like
city. Mike enters the city after successfully
passing inspection at the city's gate.
It is
not long before a volcano erupts, causing
rocks and pieces of the city's walls to
fly "toward the audience." Dazzling
flashes, earth-shaking vibration, huge boulders,
and droves upon droves of sea mice are all
part of a finale that assaults the senses.
